Following the announcement on 22 November 2021, the government has confirmed that Auckland will move into the COVID-19 Protection Framework (the Traffic Light system) this Friday at Red. Traffic light settings announced | Unite against COVID-19 (covid19.govt.nz)
In response to the government's announcement, ZINZ has made the following arrangements:
The College Campus will remain closed until 07/01/2022. Classes will continue to be delivered online until 10/12/2021. Attendance is compulsory as usual. (This year's Christmas's holidays will start on 13/12/2021 and end on 07/01/2022.)
As My Vaccine Pass is a core component of the Traffic Light system, students are recommended to apply their vaccine pass as soon as possible. Information on getting the vaccine pass can be found here: My Vaccine Pass | Unite against COVID-19 (covid19.govt.nz) or International Students’ Guide On How To Get The NZ Vaccine Pass – NZ ISA.
We will watch out for government updates and announce further class arrangements as the situation develops.
