Distance Learning

Nearly all of Business Training Courses can be studied at home. This allows you to fit your study in with your work, family, sports and other activities. This also allows international students to undertake study obtaining our qualifications.

 It is entirely up to you to decide when you will submit an assignment and at what pace you want to complete the course. There are no due dates or cut-off dates for the submission of assignments but do keep in mind that you must complete the course within the prescribed time frame.

There are no nerve-wrecking sit-down examinations. The Programs offered by Business College we assess the course outcomes during the course and you must be found competent. These outcomes are assessed in assignments or Portfolios of Evidence submitted by a student.

If you fail the first time you will restudy and resubmit the assignment under the expert guidance of your Study Advisor. You will only be required to resubmit the failed part of the assignment. In terms of Outcomes Based Education you will do this until you pass, at no extra cost.

All the textbooks, lectures and study material needed to complete the qualification are included in the study fees. There are No additional or hidden costs.

Students are provided with professionally printed study guides and program manuals of high quality. The RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) assessment is completed and prior learning is taken to account.

On course completion you will obtain a certificate that details the course learning objectives.

Each course is structured in the following manner - a workbook with a brief text introduces the topic, with learning exercises. Learners then apply their knowledge with instructional exercises, consolidate as required and check their theoretical knowledge of key points. At the end of each lesson a short self-assessment is provided which helps you prepare for the final assessment at the conclusion of the course.

The final assessment is open book and marked at the College. You may be required to submit assignments or evidence that demonstrates certain skills.

It is essential to us that you can demonstrate a practical application to the theoretical training.
