Corporate Environmental and Social Responsibility

At Business College we take our corporate social responsibility very seriously. We understand the importance of using best working practices to minimize the impact we have on the environment and encourage our employees to engage in the communities in which they work.

Business College employees are encouraged to get involved in charity work and their fund-raising exploits are publicized through company Intranet articles. They are also given paid time off to take part in 'volunteer days,' enabling them to help an organization that may be particularly close to their hearts and helping us to give something back to the community.

We strive to ensure that our Environmental Policy is clearly understood, implemented and communicated at all levels in the organization and it is always taken into consideration in the development of objectives and targets for company growth.

To cut down on electricity wastage we use energy saving light bulbs and remind employees to turn off their computers when they leave the office. Through the promotion of recycling initiatives we aim to significantly reduce the waste we produce. We do this through simple measures, such as the recycling of the limited amount of paper we use, and through more significant means, such as donating redundant computer equipment to charities or distributing office furniture to local schools.
